Hentland School
This is a community project, not only designed to renovate the parish church. but also to widen the interest in the church and its place in history and the landscape. In order to carry this out the project recruited volunteers to help with various activities:
A number of activites have been arranged during the project.
Tour of the church and graveyard.
A tour of the church and graveyard to learn from an architect the features and history of the church, preaching cross and graveyard.
Historical Research
Sessions guided by a local historian, were held at the Herefordshire Archive and Records centre (HARC).

Exhibition and Displays
To research, photograph and create an exhibition of a Time-line of the history of Hentland parish, and to help display and monitor a display of archaeological finds from the excavation at Gillow.
Oral History
To prepare questions and interview local residents. Much of this area remains to be done.
Guided Walks
To attend the walks and learn about the history of Parson's Common and its lip-well, Pengethley Park, farm and mansion, Bierless Lane and other sites.

Talks given by experts on J P Seddon, St Dubricius, Pengethley Park, bells, listed buildings, trees and woods, churchyard wildlife and a bat watch.
